Pillar Capital Management, LLC is a source of venture capital and expertise for Texas-based companies.
PCM is different from a typical venture capital firm in several important ways. PCM invests in Texas-based venture companies with its own capital and capital raised from investors on a transaction by transaction basis. While most venture fund managers have some money invested in their transactions, often only at the general partner level, our members’ investment averages over fifty percent of the total investment.
Pillar Capital Management invests in few companies and we work closely with those partner companies to ensure the greatest opportunity for success. As entrepreneurs and executives with experience across industries and company size/stage, we bring a blend of talent and skills to each situation. We do not run our portfolio companies but we do only partner with those entrepreneurs who seek the value our experience and networks provide. Our due diligence with potential portfolio companies is a deliberate process that requires time so we tend to work with companies for an extensive period prior to committing.
